"Thomas R. Weber Maumee, Ohio November 28, 1931 - February 12, 2017

Thomas R. Weber

Tom came into the world November 28, 1931 in Strongsville, Ohio. He went to the big fishing hole in the sky February 12, 2017.

Tom worked in various fields starting with Pierce Construction where he helped build the Toledo infrastructure. He then figured out to turn his passion for fish into a career at Red&White foods on 17th and Adams where he started the entire family in the endeavor. He was then instrumental with Port Clinton Fish in supplying many Toledo restaurants with fresh seafood. Tom then became an expert greens maintenance technician with Blanchard and finished with Walmart in Perrysburg and Adrian. His ingenuity, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made him a valuable member of any team.

Tom was an avid angler and made several friends and held many records at the Toledo Bass Club. Some of his and his families fondest memories centered upon their camping/fishing trips. He was always eager to learn new things and excelled at crossword puzzles. He loved teaching kids how to fish but wouldn't necessarily share his best fishing spots.

Tom was preceded by his parents Frank and Martha and his brother Charles sister Shirley. He is survived by his brother Paul , sons Robert and Mark, and grandchildren Kathleen, Patricia, Stephen, Tyler, Tessa, and step grandchildren Sydney and Christian. Services for Tom will be private. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee. Online condolences may be shared at walkerfuneralhomes.com"
