I can only find two sources with the name Woerdehoff: The Pedigree Resource file and find a grave. All the other sources: marriage records, birth records for children, and marriage records for children indicate the last name is Nordhoff. Her father is listed as John Nordhoff. I think where the mix up comes is that Caroline's daughter, Mary Elizabeth, married Francis John Kramer who had a brother, John Frederick Kramer, who was married to Mary Maragaretha Woerdehoff.
