Anton Dull Succumbs At Home Last Monday

Last Rites: Will Be Held On Friday Afternoon

Funeral services for Anton Duit who died Monday evening at his farm home south of Hampton in Grant township, will be held at the home Friday afternoon, March 14, at one o'clock and at 1:30 o'clock at the St. Peter's Evangelical church, in Grant township. Rev. S. E. Birkner, pastor of the church will be in charge of the services.

Mr. Duit was born February 27, 1885, and was a lifetime resident of Franklin county, having the singular distinction of having spent his lifetime on the same farm, on which he was born. He was married to Miss Otillie Heinz, on February 12, 1908, in Grant township and to this union six children were born, one daughter having passed away twenty-three years ago. Mr. Duit was one of the substantial farmers in his home community and he had been active in many community affairs, serving in various capacities. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Reformed church.

The decesed is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anton Duit, and five children, Harry Duit, of Iowa Falls, Garrett Duit, Miss Hilda Duit, Miss Cleva Duit, and LeVern Duit, at home, and also by two sisters, Mrs. John Ubbe, of Frescho, South Dakota, and Mrs. Fred Siebold, of Ackley."
