Note: per obit: moved from Canada to St. Pierre, Ind at age 7 and lived there 2 yrs (abt 1889-1891), moved to Chicago, IL; and then in 1893 moved to Elmore, MN area; moved to Lakota, IA area (bef 1904) - later years moved to Blue Earth, MN. ***** 1945 OBITUARY EDWARD HENRY MILLER Edward Henry Miller was born in Mitchell, Ontario, Canada, in May 1882. At the age of 7 he moved with his parents to St. Pierre, Ind., where, he resided two years. Then he moved to Chicago, Ill., and in 1893 to a farm northeast of Elmore, near St. John's church. Later he moved to the Lakota, Iowa, vicinity and on Feb. 4, 1904 was united in marriage to Ella Zierke of Elmore. He resided six miles east of Elmore for several years and in Hebron twonship (sic) for a long time. For the past year he made his home in Blue Earth where he died Monday, Jan. 15, as a result of a heart ailment of long standing. He was 62 years, seven months and 26 days old at the time of his death. Besides the widow he is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Ernest Trasamarof Blue Earth; Mrs. Joe Johnson, Mrs George Johnson and Mrs. Willard Dearing, all of Buffalo Center, Iowa; and two brothers, John Miller, Nashua, Minn.; Emil Miller, Cannon Falls, Minn.; one half brother, MikeMiller, Cisco, Texas; two half sisters, Mrs. Oswald Wieser and Mrs. Ben Cockran, Cisco, Texas; also six grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Conings Funeral Home, Blue Earth, Friday afternoon, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. and at Trinity Lutheran church, Elmore at 2 p.m. Rev. O.J. Kitzmann was in charge of the service. Burial was made in the Lakota, Iowa, cemetery. ****
