"Esther L. Buchholz

Buchholz, Esther L. Grand Rapids, Michigan Mrs. Esther L. Buchholz, age 88, of Grand Rapids, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 29, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer J. Buchholz in 2006; brothers and sisters, Dewey, Gretha, Conrad, Betty, William, Robert. Esther is survived by her children, Donald and Sara Buchholz, Robert and Kristie Buchholz, Larry and Diane Buchholz, Linda Buchholz, Julie and Rich Prather; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Estella "Skip" and Roger Oosterink, Henry and Elaine Buchholz. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 11:00 am at Covenant Christian Reformed Church (7171 Willard Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548) with Rev. Calvin Vander Meyden officiating. Esther's family will greet friends and relatives for visitation at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St. SE, 49546) on Monday, August 1, from 5-8 pm. There will also be a chance to visit with the family from 10-11 am prior to the service at church on Tuesday. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Grand Rapids. If one wishes, please consider making a memorial contribution to Bethany Christian Services.
