Betty L. Vander Weide (nee Helmholdt), age 91, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian.

She is survived by her four daughters, Nancy and John Kegel, Mary and Fred Knapp, Patricia and Phillip Lew of Phoenix, AZ, and Linda and Camel Najar; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mildred Ezinga, Don and Mary Helmholdt, Marian and Gene Piers, Carol Dykstra, Floyd and Jane Helmholdt; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 am at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton St. SE. The family will greet friends and relatives at the funeral chapel on Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Interment Garfield Park Cemetery. Memorial contribution in Betty's memory may be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center or to Bethany Christian Services.
