"Savannah Potter POTTER: Savannah Potter, age 87, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shirley and Jerry Meekhof, Henry "Butch" and Lois Potter, Howard and Peg Potter; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Nicholas and Sherry Hunderman, Elmer and Judy Hunderman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jennie Kemp, Doris Hunderman, Christina and Marv VanderBee, Wilma Dingess, Herman and Florence Potter, Bob Kroll, Jack Brondyke. Preceded in death by two grandchildren, Denise Postma, Susan Meekhof; great grandson, Austin Emmert. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:30 pm at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 Barrett St., Grandville with Rev. Dale Fopma officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grandville Christian School or Alzheimer's Association. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive and one hour prior to service at church.
