Funeral services for Mrs. L. E. (Laura) Temple, 91, of Morristown, were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at the First Baptist church with the Rev. Ernest Lindahl officiating. Interment took place in the Morristown Cemetery. Mrs. Howard Timm, Mrs. Noram Witte and Mrs. James Buscho sang, accompanied by Mrs. Lowell Paul.

Pallbearers were Robert and Allan Borne of Minneapolis, Charles Hubbard of St. Paul, Frederick Hubbard of Tulsa, Okla., Robert Temple of St. Paul, and Wesley Kisor of Morristown.

Laura Henry was born Feb. 4, 1880, in Morristown, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Henry. She attended the Morristown Public School, and on July 11, 1897, married Lewis Temple. They farmed near Morristown for a time. She was the oldest and life long member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the women's missionary circle of the Church. She passed away on Sept. 15 at the Jenkens Methodist Home in Watertown, S.D., after a long illness.

Mrs. Temple is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Gladys) Kisor of Morristown, Mrs. Fred (Mable) Hubbard of Watertown, S.D., Mrs. David (Ruth) Adeney of Singapore, Mrs. L. E. (Maude) Borne of Minneapolis; one son, Ray Temple of Hill City; 32 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Flake of Bemidji. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Lyle; one daughter, Phyllis; and four infants. Relatives and friends from Hill City, Minneapolis, Marshall, Faribault, St. Paul, Grand Marais, Glencoe, Watertown, S.D.; and Tulsa, Okla., attended the funeral.
