Bertha Schaa

Bertha Schaa, 93, of Sibley, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at the Country View Manor in Sibley.

Surviving are two sons, Delbert (Beverly) Klaassen and Burdell (Deb) Klaassen, both of Sibley; one daughter, Nancy (George) Schmidt, Ellsworth; one brother, Fred (Dorothy) Groote, Sibley; one sister, Ida Klinkenborg, Worthington; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home, Sibley.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zoar Presbyterian Church, George, Iowa, with the Rev. Dale Lint officiating.

Burial will follow in the Zoar Presbyterian Cemetery.
