William D. Young

PRAIRIE FARM (Special)- William David Young, 78, of Prairie Farm, died Thursday at Cumberland Memorial Hospital. He was born in Vernon County on Feb. 12, 1890. A retired farmer, he lived in the Town of Dallas for many years. He married Bessie Kaiser on Nov. 12, 1908.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Orville and Delbert, both of Rt. 1, Prairie Farm, and Foster, Hillsdale, seven daughters, Mrs. Velma Hudson, Mrs. Paul Tiegs, and Mrs. Robert Scates, all of Prairie Farm, Mrs. Harry Mapes, Minocqua, Mrs. Everett Hanson, both of Dallas; two brothers, Marion, Park Falls, and Pershing, Norwalk, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Stevens, Winachee, Wash., and Mrs. Manford Nelson, Leavenworth, Wash.; 48 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home in Dallas with Clarence Arquette and James Breenfield officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at tihe funeral home this afternoon and evening and until the time of the service Monday.
