Enlisted as a Private on 12 April 1865 in Company F, 154th Infantry Regiment Indiana at Clinton County, Indiana. Mustered Out Company F, 154th Infantry Regiment Indiana on 4 August 1865 at Winchester, Virginia.

Married Minerva Chiles on 10 January 1867 in Delaware Co, Indiana.

1870: Residing Salem Twsp, Delaware Co, Indiana. Husband of Minerva; parents of Perry and Marietta. Occupation: Day laborer.

1880: Residing Monroe Twsp, Delaware Co, Indiana. Husband of Minerva; parents of Perry, Mary, Warren, Maggie and Benjamin. Occupation: Brick mason.

WABASH VETERAN DIES
Isaac Needham, aged Civil War veteran, died at his home in Wabash Thursday morning at the age of 91 years. He had been stricken with paralysis several times and had been injured by a fall shortly before his death.

He was born in Ohio but spent most of his life in Wabash county. He served in the Civil War.

In 1867 he married Miss Minerva Childs, who died in 1932. Six children were born to them, one son, Perry Needham, dying last January. Surviving children are Warren Needham of Lagro, Mrs. Molly Rife of Peru, Mrs. Maggie Brower of Roann, B.F. Needham of Marion and Mrs. H.O. Goodlander of Wabash. Fred Needham of Roann is a brother.
