CHARLES SYLVESTER RICKETTS was born on January 22, 1858 in Dekalb Co., IN. to Ira and Lydia (Draggoo) Ricketts.

Charles aged 25, married Ellen S. Busick, aged about 18, on November 11, 1883 in Dekalb Co., IN.

Ellen was born about 1865 in Bement, Piatt Co., IL. to Samuel (Lycurgus) Busick and Harriet Watkins.

They had three children:
1884 - Josephine Emma Ricketts
1886 - Ida Lydia Ricketts
1887 - Ira Lycurgus Ricketts

Charles and Ellen later divorced.

Charles S. Ricketts died on January 22, 1927, aged 69, in Murray Co., MN. He was buried in Slayton Cem, Murray Co, MN.

(Charles had married at least three times. He was married to Iva Pearl Butler, Ellen S. Busick, and Ada Della Mott.)
