DONOVAN D STROCK, 88, was born March 14, 1895 in Wakarusa the son of Albert and Louise (Helwig) Strock.

He married Marie B Bailey Nov 1, 1919 in Syracuse.

He moved to Butler three or four months ago from Avilla and retired in 1965 as superintendent of utilities in Avilla. He was a member of Forest Lodge 239 R&AM.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs Warren (Evelyn) Fisher of Milford and Mrs Robert (Mary Louise) Ginder of Butler; five sons, Donavan N of Miami Florida, Ernest of Pleasant Lake, Frederick of Angola, George of Astor Florida, and Kenneth of Butler; a sister Mrs Georgia Schwann of Fort Wayne; 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Bobby, preceded him in death.

Services are Tuesday in Johnson Funeral Home in Butler with burial in Butler Cemetery.
