Lee Russell writes, "Mildred Jean Crampton Ball says she remembered Grandma Ratcliff - so this has to be her grandfather's Dan Pittenger's mother." -xi Jan MCMXCIV-Muncie, IN

Lee Russell writes, "Jean was a pretty girl when she was in high school. I saw her last year at her mother's funeral still very pretty - so pleased I was there - at Beech Grove Cemetery." -xi Jan MCMXCIV-Muncie, IN

In her notes mailed 11 Jan 1994, Lee Russell removes the title Dr. from James Ball. In her notes mailed 11 Jan 1994, Lee Russell clarifies St. Louis as the place of current residence.
