He moved to Gwinner, North Dakota area in 1911.In 1913 he rented the Oscar Oberg farm northeast of Milnor, North Dakota and in 1918 they moved to a farm three miles east of Gwinner. In 1965 he retired, moved to 20 2nd Street SE in Gwinner and sold the farm to his grandson, Merlyn Yagow.
