Donald A. Oehlstrom, 73, of Carrollton, died July 23, 2008, in Carroll Healthcare Center following a year long battle with cancer.

Born July 14, 1935, in Parma, he was the son of the late Fred and Hazel Cline Oehlstrom.

He was a life long mason contractor in Carrollton.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Shirley Weber; two sons, Donald, Jr. (Jean) Oehlstrom of Tappan Lake and Scot (Tracey) Oehlstrom of Carrollton; a daughter, Donna Ramey and companion Rex Williamson of Zoar; five grandchildren; one step grandson; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Oehlstrom of Akron and David (Mary) Oehlstrom of Carrollton; a sister, Louise Percun of Cleveland and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, no services were held. Arrangements were handled by Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
