In August, 1923 Eiko Cirks went to the Mayo clinic in Minnesota to under go sometype of exaination. In October, 1926 @ Charles City, there was a judgement of $1,000 brought against Eiko Cirks, resulting from a land deal.
Monday, 16 May 1932. Tuesday, 17 May 1932. . it states, that he shot his wife Sunday nite, then he wen 80 rods to his nearest neighbor's home and killed himself with the same weapon. His wife was found in the bedroom. Tax was paid by the Englishman, who operates a motor car, Charles City. Several years of adverse crops and falling livestock prices, Mr &Mrs Eiko Cirks battled staunchly on their little farm near Powerville.
Thursday, 19 May 1932 Funeral was held Wednesday for Iko 66 abd his wife victims of a suicide pact because their farm home was to be sold at a sale. Cirks was buried here, his wife at Marble Rock Surviving are five daughters and four sons.
