"Heiko Bosma, 93

Funeral services for Heiko Bosma, 93 of Buffalo Center were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, in the First Congregational Church. Reverend David Langer officiated. Jan Missman was the organist and there was congregationalsinging. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery in Buffalo Center. Casket bearers were Ray Bosma, Dick Bosma, Steve Bosina, Harley Hassebrock, Ken Mastin and Ray OsWald. Heiko passed away on December 23,' 2000 at his home. Winter FuneralHome was in charge of the arrangements.

Heiko Bosnia, son of Thomas and Florence (Adams) Bosina, was born February 19, 1907 at Buffalo Center, Iowa. He received his education at country schools near Buffalo Center. Heiko's first wife, Elsie Jansen, died in February, of 1933.... ... Heiko is survived by his son, Jenifer and his wife, Mary Ann, of Blue Earth, MN; three grandchildren: Scott and his wife, Nancy, Bosma of Newton; Lorrie Zierke of Faribault, MN, Brian and his wife, Linnae, Bosma of Brooklyn Park, MN; sixgreat-grandchildren; ..."

A sad death occurred, last Monday night when Mrs. Heiko Bosma, a [bride] of less than a year, passed away ___lenly at the rural home of her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Elso Jensen, of the Lakota vicinity. Her husband is a native of the BuffaloCenter vicinity where he was born and reared; he the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Bosma ___ The young woman's passing away was doubly sad because of the fact that she leaves an infant son, born less than three weeks ago. The husband ___grief stricken.

Mrs. Bosma, who was before her marriage, Miss Elsie Jensen of Lakota, was ill with the flu, the baby was ____ after which, pneumonia set in and caused her death. She was only 17 and was well and favorably known to a large circle offriends. Since her marriage last spring she and husband had been living with __r parents. March 1st they were ___cipatlng to move to the Albert ___dsen farm near this city, and already some of their household goods been taken downthere.

The husband and parents of the deceased have been constantly at her bedside and everything human hands could do forher comfort and recovery was done, but of no avail. A trained nurse had been engaged for nearly two weeks together withskilled physicians could not stay, the hand of death. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at Lakota.

The husband of the young wife is grandson of Mrs. A. Adams of this city and there are also many relatives in this locality."
