Donald Sprague pastorof the Fresno Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Fresno. ... SIMMONS FUNERAL

Funeral services for Harold D. Simmons, 57, Chili, who died Thursday at County Memorial hospital, following three yearsÙu illness, will be conducted at the Bonnell funeral home, West Lafayette, Saturday, 2 p.m., Rev. Donald Sprague pastorof the Fresno Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Fresno.

Friends will be received at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 and Saturday until time of services.

Mr. Simmons was born March 7, 1904, at Plainfield, a son of Alexander and Anna Wiggins Simmons, and was married June 25, 1925, to Opal West, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Keith Zimmerman, Bloomingdale, Ohio and Mrs. Michael Mutschelknaus, Dover; four sons, Harold, Jr. of Smithfield, Thomas, Robert and Jerry of the home; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Boatman, Eaton Rapids,Mich.; a half-brother, Warner Simmons, West Lafayette and four grandchildren. One brother and one sister are deceased.

He was a welder by trade.
