Philabaum 75, of 117 E. Russell ave., died at 12:05 a.m. today at County Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born June 10, 1898, at Fresno, a daughter of Valentine and Mary Gephart Honabarger. On Oct. 19, 1915, she was married to Alex H. Philabaum, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Winifred) Harstine, Uhrichsville; one granddaughter, Miss Jane Harstine, State College, Pa.; one brother, John Honabarger, Coshocton. Six brothers and two sisters are deceased. Mrs. Philabaum had been a member of West Lafayette United Methodist Church, the Together Class of the church, a 50-year member of West Lafayette Chapter 342, Order of Eastern Star. She and her husband observed their golden wedding in1965. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bonnell-O'Neill Funeral Home with the Rev. Orville O. Wilson and the Rev. C. F. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be observed Thursday 3 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and until time for services Friday.
