Mrs. Sheridan Geese, 62, West Lafayette Route 1, died at 4:35 a.m. today at County Memorial hospital following a three-year illness.

Nannie V. Phillips was born Aug. 24, 1882, at Bakersville, a daughter of Lemuel W. and Ida Mae Ford Phillips, and was married April 2, 1920, to Sheridan Geese, who survives. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist church at WestLafayette, the WSCS of the church, and the Plainfield grange.

The survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Mrs. Woodrow Mortine, Gambier Route 1, and three grandchildren. Three brothers are deceased.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bonnell funeral home in West Lafayette in charge of Rev. John K. Bontrager, Millersburg, and Rev. S. S. Burnette. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home. Change Date: 25 Dec 2014 ...
