"Mary A. Goetze, 81, Passes Away Sunday

Mrs. Mary A. Goetze, 81, of 4960 Edgebrook Dr., died at Methodist Hospital at 12:30 a.m., Sunday. She had been a patient there since November 21, 19«u»5«/u»0. Services for Mrs. Goetz were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Willton Mortuary with the REv. Harold J. Knappe, of the Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Maple Ridge Cemetery.

She was born in Peoria County October 1, 1880, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Rothlisberger. She was married in Peoria County, October 18, 189«u»9«/u», to Philip O. Goetz who preceded her in death November [sic] 30, 1946.

A lifelong resident of Peoria County, she had resided at the Edgebrook address since 1952.

Surviving her are three sons, Frank H. Goetz of Green Vally [sic], Phillip O. of Hanna City and Chester of Peoria; nine duaghters, Ann K. Goetze and Mrs. Mayme Van Dettum, both of Peoria, Mrs. Mary Ekena of Brimfield, Mrs. Ruth Vick of Peoria Heights, Mrs. Charlotte Kimbaugh of Elmwood, Mrs. Mable Campbell of Peoria, Mrs. Betty Hofmann of Deer Creek, Mrs. Doris Heppard of Cable, Wis., Mrs. Schwager of St. Louis; two brothers, John and Jacob Rothlisberger, both of Mapleton; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Roberts, Mrs. Lizzie Roberts and Mrs. Jennie Kuntz, all of Mapleton, 27 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. One daughter died in infancy."

Died on Sunday, buried on Tuesday.
