Note: comparing Aijolt's date of birth to that of his brother, Bauo on 5 Jan 1819, and finding a whole in the time-frame of 1809 for his siblings dates of birth, it is my hypothesis Herr Voß erred on the year of birth for Aijolt. Without further documentation, I am changing Aijolt's year of birth from 1819 to 1809. Aijolt's wife, Marthe Nannenga & he were married 26 Apr 1835 when Martje was 24 years old. Yes, she could have married a teen, aged 16 years. Marrying a man of 26 years makes more sense.

Note: The date of christening/baptism is recorded by Herr Voß to be the 31st of Sept. "30 days hath September, April, June, and November. All the rest have 31, save February ..."

If Aijolt was born in 1809, she was born in the French period (ca. 1801 - ca. 1814)
