Gerd Harm Hinrichs b Apr 01, 1841 is my great great Grandfather on my moms dads side. He and his lovely wife Mettje Benjamin Thoben came to the US in 1869, they were married in 1870. I thought it odd they were not first married inGermany. Guess you could say they eloped to the US to marry. They settled in Glenvil, Clay, Nebraska and Gerd passed on Dec 17, 1915 I am interested in finding out how you connect to this Hinrichs family. Please write me back (XXXXX@XXXX.XXX) - I only know a few of my relatives in this Hinrichs family so am looking forward to hearing from you. Donna Merkel"
