Funeral services for Mrs. Henry H. Sterrenberg, (nee Hermlna Jutting), ___ her daughter Betty Ann was held ___ the home northeast of Thompson ___day at 12 o'clock noon nnd at the Reformed church here at 1 p. m., the services beingconducted by the Rev. A. ___ dlle and the Rev. William R. Everts. ___ overflow crowd of relatives and friends were present ito pay tiheir last respects.

Internment was the the Rose Hill cemetery at Thompson.

Mrs. Henry Sterrenberg was born the 30th of January 1915, at Buffalo Center, Iowa, and passed from this life on the 8th of December [1937] at the age of 22 years, 10 months and 8 days. ...

On September 15, 1936, at George, ____ she was united in marriage to Henry Sterrenberg of Thompson Iowa, the Rev. Peter Koenen being the officiating minister. Mr. and Mrs. Sterrenberg made their home on a farm northeast of Thompson. Thecouple were very happy in wedded life, for she was a devoted wife, kind, loving, and thoughful. She was always finding ways express devotion to those outside of the home circle. Her passing from this life will be a loss not ____ to thehom, but to the community as well. ..." <>

She spent her early ____ at Buffalo Center,attending the public school, forming her friendships, and coming to womanhood in this vicinity. It was here that, as a young lady, she helped at the Dolmage Hospital, giving her time and talent ____ the relief of the suffering and at thesame time enlarging her circle of friends and companions. It was also ____e church here that she found time to serve in some part of her work. She was an active member of the ____ion Guild of the Reformed church, being one of thecharter members, and spending much time in the organization of the society. She had earnest desire to be with the Lord's people, and to be numbered with the Christians.

On September 15, 1936 Scptotaber 15, 1936, at George, ____ she was united in marriage to Henry Sterrenberg of Thompson Iowa, the Rev. Peter Koenen being the officiating minister. ____ouder Oh, I wonder, where the little faces go, ____ come and smile and stay awile, ____ pass as flakes of snow. ____ dear, wee baby faces that the world has never known, ____ Mother hides so tender-eyed, deep in her heart alone.

____ we to think that somewhere, in the country they call Heaven, ____ most fair of everywhere, will unto them be given. ____ of little faces—the fairest of the fair. ____ everyone shall know each otiher, because our Saviour's there.

____ residing at Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Sterrenberg took their place in ____ Thompson Methodist Church. ____ may these words be said of her __ life:

___ lovely, like the flower of ___est bloom, but surely dies; The Gardner came at eairly hour and took thee to the upper skies.

Mrs. Sterrrenberg was preceded in ___ by her father, Wessel Jiitting. ____ died on tihe 10th of Mardh, 1919. ____ by a brother, Ubbe Jutting. ____ died on August 28. 1924. She leaves to morn her loss, her hus!band, ____ parents, (Mr.and Mrs. Harm ____holt), the aged Grandmother, ____ Theo. Albers, and other more ____ relatives and friends, who are ____ deeply touched by her early ___ unexpected departure.

Sleep on Beloved, Sleep and take thy rest, Lay down thy head upon thy Saviour's breast; ____ love thee well, but Jesus loves thee best--- Sleep on, Sleep on.

Those from out of town to attend ____ funeral were: J. M. Willemssen, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Behrends, Mrs. ____ Dietz, Berneace DeGroth, Fred ____roth and two friends, all of George, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Geo Albers of Good Thunder Minnesota;Mr. and Mrs. Henry Albbers, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Albers, Mr. and Mrs. Milford ____, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brandt ____ of Woden; and Mr. and Mrs. John Sterrenberg of Sheldon, Iowa." <>
