"Anton U. [Tony] Willemssen -- son of Ulfert H. and his second wife Bauktje, was married to Maggie Buisker, daujghter of D. J. Buisker, in 1903. this was an unfortunate year to begin farming because it was the year of the big flood andthe big hail storm. However, they stuck it out, Tony finding work with others who were not hailed ouot, and the years that followed proved profitable for them. The farmed about four miles southeast of George.
