"More tidbits of info. My grandfather was listed in Percheron Stud Book of America. Listed as a breeder and importers. I believe date is 1919

Something has been bothering abt this. He came to the states as a child of approx. 10 years of age. Where would he have learnt the properties of horse breeding. I believe his parents were grain farms in Illinois. I know that his older brother Wilms came to Norman cty they built a rather unique barn, together. Then he left and grandfather must of stayed and then married my grandma. Not reallysure. A little before my time and at present can't confirm the reason for his staying behind. Can't confirm what happen in Illinois, except what I obtained from census and the Illinois and Iowa trails. Lost cousin Connie ..."
