"REV. L. WATERMUELDEU was at German Valley Tuesday forenoon conducting the f uneral services of Mrs. J. Leverence, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Rev. Hacken. The deceased died of old age Monday noon, aged seventy-five yearsand four days. The body was sent to Scotland, South Dakota, for burial. Rev. G. Haken and John Leverence accompanied the remains."

Funeral Services of Rev. G. Haken at Ramsey Church ... He was married to Henerina Everts in Kings, Illinois; she died at Titonka in 1914. Of this union two children were born; a daughter, Anna, and a son, Benjamin who passed away at the age of one year. On September 20, 1916, he was marriedto Mrs. Elmer Meier. Rev. G. Haken passed away quietly at his home on Friday, March 14 at 2:10 p.m. after an intense illness of two weeks. He reached an age of 78 years and four days.

Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ben U. Meyer of Titonka; ... and one grand-daughter, Marjorie Meyer.

Following the service at Falls, his body was brought to the Ramsey church at Titonka where services were held. ..." <>
