Cooke, Joan, e-mail to David A. Navorska in re Sarah Ann Richter ii, (Pub. location unknown, JC, x Oct MMIX)

"... Sarah Ann was married 3 times. First to Hiram Hart, married 4 Mar 1844 in Ohio.. They had a son, John Hart, b: 8 Jan 1845 Ohio.

I've never found anything on Hiram except he apparently died ... this stated by Sarah on her application for 3rd marriage. Nor do I know what happened to their son John.

On June 11, 1847, Sarah gave birth to another son, Isaac in Tuscarawas, Ohio...(apparently 'out-of-wedlock'. She named him Isaac after her brother, gave him the surname of SELLS. I have been in touch with several Sells researchers, noone has found any records to indicate who Isaac's father was. Sarah came to Lakeville, Indiana with her parents when Isaac was about 5 years old. He resided in Lakeville the rest of his life. On July 3, 1874 he married Mary Jane Clay, daughter of Andrew Jackson Clay and Nancy Hurdle.. Isaac and Mary Jane had 3 children: Ezra, Grace and Amelia. Ezra was b: 8 Apr 1883, Lakeville, Indiana. He married Leona Belle Bentel...they had 7 children: Their daughter, Pauline Jeanette, married Jacob Henry Lindenman, Jr.....their son, Charles Edward married my daughter, Pamela Suzanne Cooke.
