"JACOB LIMBERG

His Death Occurred at Independence Ia., Result of Paralytic Stroke.

Jacob Limbery, long time resident of Ackley died at Independence Iowa on February 10, 1943, following a stroke. He reached to age of 85 years, 2 months, and 26 days. He was born in Grimersum, East Friesland, Germany, on November 15, 1857. In 1881 he was united in marriage to Adeline Schrage. She preceded him in death on October 6, 1910. To this union were born eight children, Mrs. George Johnson, Abel Limberg, Mrs. Wm. Boekhalt, Mrs. Jacob Battema, Miss Katie Limberg, John, Harm and another daughter Mattie residing in Minnesota.

He is the last of 10 children of John and Tena Limberg.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday P. M., Feb. 12 from the Nelson funeral parlor, conducted by Rev. Henry Johnson. Burial was made in Oakwood cemetery, Ackley."
