"Dr. Leonard Kenneth Ebel EBEL Dr. Leonard Kenneth Ebel, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, October 8th, 2009. Survived by daughter, Heidi Ebel Triplett, of Upper Arlington; and son, Pete (Maureen) Ebel, of Upper Arlington; sisters, Bonny Thatcher of Ft. Myers, Fla, and Connie Hager, of Ashland, Ohio; grandchildren, Hunter and Isabella Triplett, Audrey Ebel, and Emily and Joseph Huddle. Friends and family may call Thursday, October 15th form 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 16th at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Road at 5 p.m. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to WOSU Radio, 2400 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43210 or to Opera Columbus, 177 E. Naghten St., Columbus, OH 43215-2613, in his memory. Complete obituary to appear in Wednesday's Columbus Dispatch."
