Jack, 74, of Charlotte, MI. passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 at the Hospice House Of Mid Michigan with his loving family at his side. Jack was the son of Roy H. and Edna C. (DeLong) King and was a lifelong Chester Township resident.

He was a 1958 Graduate of Charlotte High School and attended Ferris State University for 2 years.

He was a retired Tool and Die Maker for Oldsmobile Division of General Motors with 30 years of service and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the western United States and enjoyed wintering in Ruskin, Florida.

He was an antique dealer and enjoyed auction sales.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon (Jones) King; three children, Darrin (Amee) King of Grand Ledge, Beth (Eric) Pulver of Dimondale and Jeff (Heather) King of Livonia; 5 grand children, Kyle & Evan King, Danny Small, Rachel Small and Addie King; sister, Joyce Wilmore of Charlotte and brother, James King of New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Dorothy and Pat.

A Memorial Gathering was held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. A Luncheon Reception immediately followed the Memorial Gathering at the Maple Brook Golf Club in Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the Hospice House of Mid Michigan or the American Cancer Society.
