Dolores "Dolly" Dilbone, age 85, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away in her home, Saturday evening, July 23, 2022. Dolly was born May 23, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Raymond and Maxine (Finch) Tressler. She married Neal David Dilbone, Sr. on February 2, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2004.

Dolly was a member of the Red Hat Society and Swanton Senior Center. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working puzzles, tending to her garden and dancing.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Lyon, Cynthia Weigel, Neal, Jr. (Patricia) Dilbone, Susan Lyon, Kathleen Schohn, Carl Dilbone, James Dilbone and Ruby (Farid) Khalil; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her beloved husband, Neal; Dolly was preceded in death by her daughters, Rose Dilbone and Cecilia Lynn (Schidler) Dilbone Phillips; grandsons, Jack Woods Jr. and Rickie Sheetz; granddaughters, Joelle Dilbone and Stacey Aubouchor; sons-in-law, Alan Schidler, Sr. and Bruce Weigel; brothers, Robert, Dave, Clifford, Michael, Jack Tressler and sisters, Sharon Straw and Ethel Bullis.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, July 28th from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Hospice.
