The picture is of Mrs. Mary E. (LEWIS) GREENE, the 2nd child and oldest daughter of "Stanley" and Mary (CORKILL) LEWIS. Their first child was born in Truro, NS, where they had married in 1879. From memory, "May" had married William GREENE, and I believe they had 10 children. I have found one descendant, and years ago heard from another. And, my father always kept in touch with one of their sons. They were both named, Stanley, after their grandfather.

The family had a connection to Nantucket, MA. The couple went there to visit her mother's sister once, and liked it so much they decided to live there for a while. As a teen, my father would go down and spend summers with them. And, one of their granddaughters lives there.

Mary is buried in Stoneham , Probably in the cemetary on montvale ave near her sister Louise , my great grandmother whom I called Gamma .
