The following entry's are from the Rappahannock County Order Books. And should prove that Mary is Johns wife , not a daughter of Thomas and Mary.

August 5, 1685:
A commission of Administration is granted to MARY TAPP upon the estate of her deced husband, JOHN TAPP, she giving security to be accountable for the same to this Court or to whom it shall more properly belong.

The estate of JOHN TAPP deced and that they make report thereof under their hands at the next South side Court held for this County.

MARY TAPP, together with Mr. John Waters enter themselves in an assumpsit of ten thousand pounds of tobb: and cask for the said MARY TAPPS due administracon of the estate of her deced husband comitted to her.

November 4th 1685:
Ordered that MARY TAPP make her personall appearance at next South side Court held for this County & that then & there, she give an exact & true account oath of her deced husbands estate.

On Aug 5, 1685 Commission of Administration is granted to mary Tapp upon the Estate of her dec'd husband, John Tapp, she giving in security to be accountaqble for the same either to this court or to whom it shall properly belong. Ordered that Thomas Gaymes, Rosomund Jacob, Wm. Johnson & Leonard Chamberlaine do the last day of Sept next, inventory and appraise the estate of John Tapp dec'd and that they make report thereof under their hands at the next south side court held for this county. mary Tapp, together with John Waters, enter themselves in an assumpsit of 10, 000lbs of tobacco and cask for the said Mary Tapp's due administration of the estate of her dec'd husband committed to her.
On 2 Dec 1685 Ordered that Mary Tapp make her personal appearance at next soth side Court held for this county and that she give and exact and true account (upon oath) of her dec'd husband's estate. She died on 10 Sept 1731 at Richmond Co. VA

On 1 Dec 1731 at Richmond Co. Virginia, Bond of Joseph Bragg, Charles Bragg, Richard Branham and henry Suttel of Richmond, in the sum of L100 to insure that Joseph and Charles Bragg, Administrators of all the goods, chattels, and credits of Mary bragg dec'd make an inventory of the goods etc. of the dec'd. An inventory of her estate was presented by Joseph and Charles Bragg, administrators on 5 JKan 1732 at Richmond Co. Virginia
