of Cornelius and Elizabeht (Bussard) Whetstone, now deceased, he was born in Napier Township, Bedford County, on July 8, 1857.  At the time of death he was age 85 yeasrs and 25 days.  His wife, the former Oral C Wertz, preceded him in death.
