He married Elizabeth Ellsworth, the daughter of Josiah Ellsworth, 23 Dec 1680. She was born 11 Nov 1657 and died in 1743. He bought land in East Windsor in 1689, and was appointed lieut. in 1707. He died 29 Sep 1733. His will, preserved at Hartford, is dated May 26, 1729. He had no children.
