    LifeSketch: The following is the Obituary that appeared in The Macon Telegraph on July 22,1904 pg 5... 10 o'clock. He was 35 years of age. Mr. Harris has been in poor health for a long time, but was seemingly no worse off than usual, being quite cheerful up to the time of his death.ldest living son of former Alderman Peter Harris and leaves besides a fond and devoted mother, three brothers and five sisters to mourn his untimely death.by all who knew him well. Owing to his long and continued illness he has not been engaged in any active business for a year or more, but previous to that time he was one of the most prosperous brick manufacturers in the state.
