Married 15th April 1925 in St Matthias' church, Vepery, Madras, India, aged 25 (actually 23, but had lied about age to enter army at 15), cert dated 19th April 1925
Died 26th December  1947, kicked in the stomach by a horse whilst in service, buried 27th December 1947
