LifeSketch: It seems highly unlikely that Daniel was the son of Peter Branch (1696-1756) and Content Howse (1700-1681). This couple appears in the Preston Town Records along with the birth dates of their children. This entry has Peter's birth, their marriage, the births of nine children, and Peter's death date. If Daniel was their son, why is his name not on this list??
