A/65-7 (Mrs. John T. Watkins, P. O. Box 23, ??ammond, La., 70101) Info wanted: GREENE, Allen - inscription on tombstone - born Walton Co., Ga. 1818. He married there and came to La. 1850. Names of parents? Wife? This probably Greene Co at time of his birth. Was he a son of Rev. Sol., Wm. Greene? Family tradition says same family as Nathaniel Greene.

A/65-7(Mrs. Watkins) A Rev. So., of Va., Capt. Allen J. Green, m. Nancy Porter Hunt (1784-1828), dau. of Capt. Judkins Hunt, R. S., of Hancock Co Ga.

I am researching my family history and need more information on My GGGrandfather John Henry Brett and his Father-in-Law Henry Hunt. They both served in Co. F, 21st Regt Ga. Vol, Ben Hill Infantry. I am trying to see if there is a connection between my family and Capt. Judkins Hunt (RWS) and John Hunt (Founder of Huntsville, AL). Any information would greatly be appreciated.

Thank You,

Ronald R. Brett
