He was a Mennonite weaver.1683. The father, Wilhelm Lucken, came from Dahlen (today Monchen Gladbach-Rheindahlen), as from the “Specification, how many Anabaptists are located in the jurisdiction of Dahlen and how they are called with first names and family names” for the 2nd of July 1652 (4) shows “6. Wilhelm Lucken was born here, moved around as necessary in order to earn his living, until 3 years ago he came back and married a townsmans’s daughter of the same religion.” Also the mother Adelheid came from Dahlen (5). She confirmed this in the interrogation at Passendorf on the 29th of August, 1694.attached - Lukens Germantown Settlers
