Donald G. Morash, Jr., age 78, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of the late Maureen Riordon Morash.

Born in Boston, MA, the son of the late Donald G. and Lillian F. (Marten) Morash, he lived in Quincy, MA before moving to Warwick in 1970. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Don was a broker/owner of Abbott Properties Real Estate, LLC. He was a Warwick Rotarian for many years and served as President 2002-2003. Don had been involved in many organizations including the March of Dimes, West Bay Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, Boys & Girls Club, SBA National Advisory Council, Central RI Chamber of Commerce, East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, Kent Washington Board of Realtors, Providence Board of Realtors, Rhode Island Commercial Board of Realtors, as well as the RI Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.

Don was on the Zoning Board of Warwick, serving as its chairman until the time of his death. He was a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club and a past member of the Potowomut Golf Club.

He leaves a son, Donald G. Morash, III (Emily) of whom he was extremely proud; as well as three grandsons, Kory, Luke and Colin, all of whom he was equally proud. He also leaves a sister, Mary Jane Collins and her husband Jim, of Englewood FL; a niece, Valarie, and nephew, David. He was the companion of Linda Allcock.
