During the 1950s, John Leander "Tim" Clark and several of his friends and brothers-in-laws, went to work at the Veteran's Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

Tim started as a nursing aid and then progressed through several departments. He worked last and longest as an Occupational Therapy Aid.

He is shown at the rug loom in the Veteran's Hospital where he taught men how to weave rugs and runners.
