Son of John Jordan and Margaret Hennaughan. Brother of Michael, Malachi, Joseph, Edward, Margaret, Nora and Mary. Married Rose A. McGirr, daughter of John McGirr and Mary Powers.

Peter Jordan Of Well Known Cortland Family and Brother Of Mrs M. Organ Of Sycamore, Died On Sunday Last.

Peter Jordan, for many years a farmer south of Cortland, died at his home in Chicago on Sunday.

The funeral services were held at St. Dominick's church in Chicago this Tuesday morning, and the interment was in DeKalb.
Mr. Jordan leaves surviving his wife, Rose Jordan, nee McGirr,; his brothers, Malachi and Michael, both of DeKalb, and Edward of Milwaukee; and his sisters, Mrs. M. Organ of Sycamore, Mrs. F. G. Lynn of Chicago, and Mrs. F. G. Keenan of Elburn, Ill.

Mr. Jordan's two brothers John and Thomas died within the last three years.

The deceased had been a resident of Chicago over 20 years, and had been employed by the city as an inspector.
