Harold J. "Jiggs" Brasley, 77, of Pine Eden Rd., Rindge, NH and Plainville, and widower of Winifred (Howe) Brasley died Thursday, (April 4, 2002) at Harborside Healthcare-The Reservoir, West Hartford.

Born May 18, 1924 in Hartford, a son of the late Arthur and Mary (Hyland) Brasley, he lived in Rindge, NH and Plainville.

He was a foreman at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Overhaul Division, Southington for 33 years before retiring in 1983. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church and was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II.

He is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Pamala and Gary DePaul of Torrington, Deneen McQuarrie of Plainville, Michele Brasley of Bristol and Patty and Bob Mastrianni of Plainville; a brother, Arthur Brasley of Rindge, NH; eleven grandchildren, Gary DePaul, Jr., Melissa Sandrovich, Jennifer McQuarrie, James McQuarrie, Jr., Alex and Kyla Armento, Robert and Shawn Sifuentes, Jessica Sharpe, Robert and Tracy Mastrianni; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a son-in-law, Jeffrey Sharpe, of Bristol; and a dear friend, Rose Crescentini, of Plainville. He was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Sharpe; and a sister, Mary Mansfield.
