Notes about Ernest Malcolm Fewtrell

Ernest Malcolm Fewtrell

An Amazing Person

I met Malcolm the first time in 1972 when he and his wife visited Norway. Malcolm had his kind of humour that I really liked.

He was so English!!! Also, he had been a high ranking Police Officer, and he followed my own career till I retired in 2003.

Then for a couple of years both of us were Police Officers, (Rtd) He was a Chief Superintendent, and I was Chief Inspector.

Sue and I visited him regularly in Swanage, and all the times I studied his scrap books - especially about the great train robbery in 1963. Malcolm was in charge of Buckinghamshire CID.
