Sybrant was olderman van Leeuwarden.Genoemd 1439 en als koper vermeld in een oorkonde uit 1443.

OFO I-410 d.d.11-10-1494:zijn kinderen Jan en Sibbel bevestigen zijn schenkingen aan de armen van Leeuwarden.

Sybrant was gehuwd 1416 (?) met Auck Siercksdr van Donia, dochter van Sierck van Harinxma-Donia en Auck Benedictusdr van Donia.

Auck was weduwe van Juw van Juwsma en met hem getrouwd in 1412 (?).

De data van haar huwelijken (1412 en 1416) zoals vermeld in het stamboek F.A.zijn misschien niet juist.

De kinderen uit haar eerste huwelijk zijn Oene,Ydt en Jelle van Juwsma.De laatste was pastoor te Leeuwarden (Oldehove) en stierf in 1497.
