Unarch is de oudst bekende en behoorde tot het eerste geslacht Van Naaldwijk. hij treedt in 1156 op als getuige van de graaf van Holland. Hoek heeft aangetoond dat hij twee dochters had. De één huwde met Dirk van Voorne en de andere met de oudst bekende Van der Woerd; Floris de Worth. Het nageslacht van Dirk van Voorne wordt later het tweede geslacht VanNaaldwijk; zij voeren als wapen de Hollandse leeuw in een zilveren veld en zijn erfmaarschalken van Holland. De pretentie van hun afkomst is dat zij via de heren van Voorne uit het grafelijk huis zijn voortgekomen. Precies dezelfde pretentie als de Van der Woerden, ook zij zouden stammen uit het huis van Voorne en zouden als zodanig ook uit het grafelijk huis zijn voortgekomen.

Unarch is the oldest known and belonged to the first Van Naaldwijk family. he appears in 1156 as a witness of the count of Holland. Hoek has shown that he had two daughters. One married to Dirk van Voorne and the other to the oldest known Van der Woerd; Floris de Worth. The offspring of Dirk van Voorne later becomes the second VanNaaldwijk family; they carry as a weapon the Dutch lion in a silver field and his heirlovers of Holland. The pretension of their origin is that they originated from the count's house through the lords of Voorne. Exactly the same pretension as the Van der Woerden, they too would come from Voorne's house and as such would have emerged from the count's house.
