Notes about Esther L. Grant

Esther Grant Savin Dallas, TX - Esther died in her home surrounded by her beloved pets, at age 88. She lived a full life having lived most of it in San Francisco. She moved to Dallas in 1994 and enjoyed being a Texan. Mrs. Savin was a graduate of San Francisco State College and earned her master's degree in social work from U.C. Berkley, the same year her son graduated from high school. She spent her career in San Francisco in service to her community as a social worker and was called out of retirement in 1989 to help with earthquake victims. She loved her animals and family who will miss her and her sense of humor. A private memorial service will be held Monday evening. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Operation Kindness or to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W.
